What is an ADU or Garden Suite?
An ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) or garden suite is a compact, detached living space often used in backyards for extra income, guests, or family. Our Lunar Line collection includes multiple prefab models designed for these uses — fast to install, stylish, and fully permitted.
How is the process different from regular construction?
No messy job sites or endless delays. With New Leaf, your unit is precision-built offsite, site prep happens in parallel, and everything is pre-coordinated through our project app—from excavation to final finishes.
How does the process work?

We handle design and permitting remotely
Your site is prepped while we build in our shop
We ship and install your build fast — with minimal mess
Local trades complete insulation and finishing (pre-scheduled by us)

Do I need land to buy a unit?
Yes—New Leaf Vision builds are designed to be placed on your land. If you need help finding land, we may be able to refer you to our realtor partners.
How much does a build cost?
You can find up-to-date pricing on each model directly on our Product Page. Pricing varies depending on the build type, size, and customizations.
Our ZeroGrid™ off-grid package starts at $75 CAD per square foot, which includes bundled solar, water, and waste systems—perfect for remote or independent living.
How long does it take to receive my unit?
Most builds are delivered and installed in a matter of weeks, not months. Timelines depend on the model, permitting, and site prep, but we drastically reduce build time compared to traditional construction.
Can I customize the layout or finishes?
Yes — we offer a range of interior layout options and curated finish selections to match your style and needs. While we don’t offer structural add-ons, you’ll have full control over the interior look and feel of your unit.
Can your builds be used for Airbnb or rental income?
Definitely. Many of our clients use New Leaf builds as Airbnb rentals, guest suites, or long-term income properties. We even offer Airbnb-ready layouts to help you earn from day one.
Do you ship across North America?
Yes! We design, permit, and deliver units anywhere in North America, with remote site planning and local contractor support.
Do you offer off-grid solutions?
Yes! Our ZeroGrid™ system bundles solar power, water harvesting, and waste management into one seamless package—perfect for remote living or reducing dependency on utilities.
